How to apply for the Advisory Board
ACN Advisory Board
The Advisory Board will:
- Provide strategic oversight and governance to ensure ACN’s activities align with its mission.
- Attend quarterly advisory board meetings.
- Serve on one sub-committee.
- Act as ambassadors for ACN, promoting its work and impact.
The Terms of Reference include:
- Purpose: To provide strategic advice and governance oversight to ACN, ensuring the organisation meets its objectives.
- Scope: Responsible for approving strategies, budgets, and major initiatives.
- Authority: The advisory board does not manage day-to-day operations but advises the leadership team and ensures accountability.
- Virtual meetings held quarterly for two hours, with the following tentative months:
- Q1: January
- Q2: April
- Q3: July
- Q4: October
An annual budget will be provided to advisory board members for review and approval. Key areas include event costs, content production, and operational expenses.
This is a voluntary role but expenses will be covered, including travel, meals and any accommodation required. Each Board member will also receive a complimentary premium membership.
